Decisions, Decisions.

Let's cut to the chase. I'm H. I have Genevieve Sullivan and Chester Matenga-White, along with orders to remove them from the equation through whatever means I can. So I'm giving you a choice.

If you want to, you can have them back. But you can have only one. You can have Vivi, or Chester, but not both. The other one will die. I'll make it painless, I assure you. As I said before, I am not an unkind man. Chester being my flesh and blood means very little to me, but I do not enjoy playing with my prey.

That's not the only choice you have. You can let them go. I can remove any and all evidence of Slender Man ever having existed from their memories. I can remove all pages pertaining to Slender man from their internet histories, remove all possible triggers from their immediate area. They'll be free. Memory wipes aren't perfect, but we do our best.

I'm offering you three choices. Each has it's upsides and downsides. Cast your vote.

"GENEVIEVE LIVES" if you wish for Genevieve, and Genevieve only, to survive.

"CHESTER LIVES" if you wish Chester, and Chester only, to survive.

"CLOSE THEIR EYES" if you wish for them to both be mindwiped.

The first one to reach a certain number, which I will not tell you, will be carried out as soon as possible.

Their fate is yours to decide.

  1. I don't want to negotiate. But at this point, I honestly don't know what to do other than pick one. I would never want the ones I love to die and having to be alone, likewise, I know that they would not want that either.

It's better if they don't remember, I suppose...

  2. We can't just not vote...if nobody votes, he'll choose his own option. Probably to kill them both. The best option here is mindwipe, right? I hope...I hope I'm doing the right thing. Don't hate me!

  3. I don't want either of them to die. And I do not think either of them would forgive me if I chose the first two choices. I may not know theme well enough, but to me it's better that they are free of this curse, then have one of them die only to suffer from a life of running anyways.

I just hope I can trust that you will keep your word.

    CLOSE THEIR EYES.

  4. CLOSE THEIR EYES

It's the kindest thing to do. No matter how unreliable it is.

  5. And what do you do, if nobody votes?
    If nobody chooses?
    Also, sadistic choice?

Pft, apparently proxies love their fucking cliches.

As for wiping their memory, this doesn't mean that they'll be safe. It just means they'll be ill prepared for when SlenDERP does shit.

  6. You idiots! Shut the hell up!

All he's done is say that he'll wipe their memories! He's said nothing about their safety afterwards! Just that they won't remember! All he says is 'they'll be free', which can mean any number of fucking things!

  7. With their memories wiped, they will no longer be a threat to He That Is. Unless they rediscover him, which I will do my best to prevent, they will be safe.

  8. Jay of Anomalous Data did an experiment. When the victims forgot about -HIM-, generally -HE- stopped playing with them. Would you rather one of them die? Remember, divided they will fall.

  9. You've still not told us what happens if we don't vote.

  10. N, shut the fuck up.

Jay also turned into redlight, one of the assholes who sucks big black and derpy's man meat.

  11. If you do not vote I will have to kill both of them. Just a little incentive for you.

  12. Hey, here's a better idea. Harry Pooper.

Wake them up and ask them yourself.

I don't like thinking I can/should decide the fate of others for shits and giggles.

  13. They both volunteered themselves to be the one to die, and hence came to a stalemate. You are their friends. You are more qualified to decide than anybody else apart from them, and they, well...both put the other first.

  14. You don't know that, JediZero. Redlight could be anyone.

  15. I choose option D: None of the above. Neither of them would be happy if the other died and whiping their memories would be an invasion of privacy.

  16. God fucking dammit....

I don't know what to do.

Wiping their memory seems a very cruel thing to do... they came together over this. You'll be seperating them anyway.

I don't know what the fuck to do.

  17. I won't be separating them. Their situation will not change. They will remain living together and will keep all family ties, their jobs, their lives in general. I will simply expunge all trace of He That Is, the blogs, everything. The main risk of re-exposure, Chester's parents, have been similarly dealt with.

  18. Viv, Chester.

You guys are awesome, you know that, right? God, the number of times you've made me laugh when there's nothing else to laugh about. Remember the fanfic writing competition we were planning? That was going to be great. I still like Jeff's early entry. And he got you two together, sort of-- I mean, you both did most of the leg work, but Jeff pointed it out, bless him. Nessa shipped you guys from the very beginning.

When Nessa was lost, you kept it together. You've both been really good at that, over the months. You're the only place on the blogosphere I can really rely on to come back to, the only people I really trust all the time. You always talk me back down, and you love each other, and love is such a strong weapon in this.

But you never deserved this. You're too nice, too kind, and we as a group love you for it. But if you love something, let it go, right?

Chester. Vivi. Thank you. You don't know what your friendship has done for me. I don't know what will happen next, but... Thanks.

CLOSE THEIR EYES. Please. Let them be.

  19. ...will they still help Stella?
Will they still know her as a friend?

    ReplyDelete
  20. They will indeed know a girl by the name of Stella MacKenzie. She will be their friend. Whether they will be able to help her without knowing her situation I do not know.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Why're you doing this anyway?
    Letting us choose?

    ReplyDelete
  22. ... Alea iacta est. They would not forgive us for anything else.
    Close their eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  23. CLOSE THEIR EYES

    Let Them Live.

Especially for everything they've done for us.

    For Me.

    For Jeff.

    -Cheska

    PS:
    You fail, you die.
Chester's brother or not, I will kill you.

    Right Jeff ? <3

  25. I'm so sorry, Vivi, Chester.

    CLOSE THEIR EYES.

    I'm sorry.

  26. ...The votes have been cast.

I'm glad you chose to do the kindest thing.

  27. Stella? If that's you, I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry.

I can't vote. I can't decide like this. I can't just make a decision that will effect their lives. Chester...Vivi...I'm so sorry...

Stella, if you need my help, I'm here. Not in a physical sense, I can't do that. I wish I could, but I can't. But you know where I am if you need anything, anything at all.

    I'm so sorry.

  28. Archive it!

    Start archiving everything!

In case they find out again, they'll need all the knowledge they can get!

  30. I only have one thing to say: Nessa. She had her mindwipoed. She remained unsafe.

I choose for you to come after me instead, H.

  31. As far as we know, Nessa could be safe. We haven't heard from her since she went out to see her "dad"... But that's all speculation.

She almost remembered because she somehow got her laptop back. Redlight screwed up. This guy seems careful, though. I'd trust him, if I was in any trouble myself.
