We managed to capture the proxy following us. The girl. We gave her the cure. But...she's still thrashing around and swearing at us and yelling about slendy saving us all and it's been nearly a day.
What...is going on? Is the cure not working? is it just taking a while to kick in? What do we do? Crap!
Crap crap crap crap...
From everything I've read about the cure, I believe it may be different for each particular proxy, depending on His hold on them. Vivi, Iif you can, can you send me a private message? I need to know about the cure and how to make it.

...Look at Cheska's latest post. The cure is no longer working. And I get the feeling the recipe died with Jeff.

It can't be that hopeless can it?
ReplyDeleteThere has to be another way.
I don't want anyone to die...
There's always a way out, somehow. Proxies are human, underneath it all, they have human feelings and motives. They don't deserve to die.
ReplyDeleteI guess we're going to have to find another way. I guess the cure was too good to be true...

Oh, great. Just friggen great.
ReplyDeleteYou could call the police, tell them that she tried to break into the house.
If the cure isn't helping anymore....you might have to go to potentially more lethal means of convincing them to leave you alone.
This can't be what they meant by 'your trump card is gone', can it?
ReplyDeleteVivi, perhaps we need to make some adjustments to the cure? Find a way to make it stronger, perhaps? I refuse to believe that the cure is completely over and done with.
ReplyDeleteJedi, we should not use any lethal means on them. Afterall, as Vivi said, they are still human.

ReplyDeleteThey're still human, but if you think that I'd rather Vivi, or Chester, or Stella died compared to them, I'm sorry.
ReplyDeleteI'd pick Vivi, Chester, or Stella everytime.
There might not even be a cure anymore. They're changing, they're adapting.
You think I like the idea anymore than you do? They use kids, for gods sake.
But you've got to imagine, what kind of hell are they trapped in? If it was me, I dunno if I'd want to be in that situation. Watching myself hurt people, do things, things that I'd never want to do. I'd want someone to stop me, to put me to peace. No matter what it took.
If you find a cure, you find a cure. But until then, you can't just...not defend yourself.
Then you'd just be another body to the count.
Edited due to atrocious grammar.
We don't have the recipe. Jeff did. And he's gone.
ReplyDeleteLook, I really don't want to talk about the cure. It's finished, Lucien. It's gone. He's gone. We have to change our tactics.
